Rosa Mexicano Bucerias location is the second addition in the bay with its sisterr location in Punta de Mita (Anclote Beach). They bring their reputation and dining experience in a sophisticated, yet still authentic way.

Enjoy prepared table-side salsa made with roasted roma tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro, mashed together using a mortar and pestle and served with crispy hot red, green, and yellow tortilla chips! You can choose from a delicious array of margaritas, martinis, sangrias and more. Plus Rosa Restaurante Mexicano offers an extensive list of fine "anejo" or "reposado" tequilas for sipping pleasure.

FISH AND SEAFOOD
Grilled Octopus - Marinated in a special House sauce accompanied with a fresh green salad
Traditional Veracruz Fish - grilled fish fillet with tomato sauce, onions, chiles gueros, capers and olive
Stuffed Shrimps - stuffed with chihuahua cheeses, wrapped in bacon and with chipotle dip
Arriero Shrimp - sauteed shrimp with olive oil, garlic, baby potatoes, sweet potato puree and vegetables

Fajitas - chicken, beef, shrimp or mixed - Flamed at your table, served with black beans, rice, guacamole, cheese and cream.
Chiles Rellenos - cheese, shrimp or spiced beef - served with refried black beans & rice
Traditional Tortilla Soup - tortilla, avocado, dried chile, fresh panela cheese & cream

Our first impression was the property is very nice. Set back of the street in a garden-like setting. The trees all have lanterns hanging from them. The table and chairs were very comfortable. My first thought was I was underdressed in jean capris and a tshirt but then quickly remembered I was in Mexico. The staff was very attentive. Our drinks were good. I had a margarita and they poured the tequila at the table. Then a young man came to our table and prepared salsa for us from roasted vegetables. Yummy! We ordered the cheese molcejete appetizer in verde sauce. The waiter prepared our first samples for us. Again, yummy! We shared the molcejete mixta which had steak, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, cheese and napal. It was to die for. the portion was ample. We even took some home. On Wed and Fri (the night we were there) they have a mariache band which is awesome. I'm not usually a big fan but they were a 5-6 piece ensemble with a trumpet player. the roamed the restaurant taking requests. It was very entertaining. When asked if we wanted dessert we politely said we were too full. the manager said we had to try the tres leche cake and he brought us a sliver to try. It was so fresh and was drizzled with a berry syrup with small slices of fresh fruit on top. It was amazing. This restaurant was a refreshing change from the other restaurants in Bucerias. We will definitely go here again...often!

We were very pleased with the restaurant's back yard garden setting and the live Mariachi Band that serenaded us at our diner table! The food was prepared and presented wonderfully also. In all, this was one of our finest dinning nights out! If it had not been for the recommendation from “Best of Bucerias” we may have missed out on this great dinning experience
