Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) is the sensation of hearing a sound without a source in one or both ears, the most frequent sound is “bells” but may also include:

  • Low sounds like a waterfall

Rhinitis

What is the difference between ear infection and otitis?

Otitis media (ear infection) — Involves the middle ear, which is located just behind the eardrum. Otitis media with effusion — Occurs when there is thick or sticky fluid behind the eardrum in the middle ear, but there is no ear infection.
