With a spectacular ocean view, this seafoodlobster house is known for it's charming authentic mexican flavor, fresh seafood and excellent atmosphere. Only 15 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta.

What attracts most to this restaurant is the fun atmosphere either beachside or under the covered tile roof overlooking the beach below.  Whether you come for the Fresh Seafood, Enchiladas Oaxaca style, Chile Relleno or the Beef Tampiquena, you will always feel welcomed to spend an entire afternoon! 


Try the Lobster Termidor - Prepared with creme and stuffed with cheese au gratin or try it covered with garlic, lemon butter or tequila sauce.


  • Mariscada - Lobster, large shrimp, scallops and mussels - prepared with lobster sauce
  • Jumbo Shrimp - Try butterfly style prepared with butter, garlic or tequila, breaded with ground bread, served with Aurora dressing. Shish Kebob style with tomato, onion, bell pepper served on a skewer. Of course, the bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese is highly recommended!

hi i heathing someting amazing in your restaurant 1 month ago. the sauce with with jumbo shrimps.. i think its made with garlic,pepper( i forgot the name) and brandy. can i have the recipe for this sauce or list of ingredients please. thank you see you next year Dany Paquette

A few days back I realized that that particular day was my 10th. anniversary here in Bucerias, having arrived from Washington, D.C. I decided to treat myself to a good dinner and did so at Mar y Sol. Mar y Sol was the first restaurant that welcomed me to Bucerias and continues to be my very favorite. It is located right on the beach with a stunning view of Bay of Banderas. The food is super delicious. The drinks are definitely prepared to our demanding taste. The service is attentive, friendly and definitely professional. My compliments to Cesar, Chuy and Ruben. These three waiters are Bucerias's best. When you come here for the first time, you must meet the owners, Mike and Nancy. Mike, though an owner with a large staff, finds time to prepare some of the meals himself, making sure that the patrons are satisfied. When he is not in the kitchen, he sits at the cash register, always with a sincere smile. Nancy, with her beautiful and bubbly personality, makes the rounds, thus assuring that everyone is well taken care of. She, too, gets into the kitchen and helps with the cooking, as well as attending to the cash register. These two good people give the place a very comfortable and warm atmosphere. I take my hat off to you, Mar y Sol, and I give you an A+! Many thanks for the 10 wonderful years of good and friendly service.
