Where is the tour located?

The Outdoor Adventure tour takes place at our private reserve in the heart of the Sierra Madre approximately 6 miles south of Puerto Vallarta.

How do we get there?

The tour starts out on an inflatable boat ride that takes us to the fishing village of Boca de Tomatlan. Once there we’ll board a Unimog and go up into the forest to our Outdoor Adventure base camp.

How challenging is this tour?

The Outdoor Adventure requires a lot of physical activity. Participants should be in good physical shape and be able to walk uphill for 30 minutes and climb a 20 ft ladder. There is also a weight restriction of 260 lb.

Will I get dirty or wet?

Yes! You will be rappelling down waterfalls and you will probably get dirty or wet during the hike as part of the adventure.

What should I wear?

We recommend long shorts or pants a t-shirt and comfortable closed-toed shoes. Please bring a change of clothes and shoes so that you can change before returning to Vallarta. You’ll be able to store the dry clothes in a locker at the base camp.

Is the mule ride difficult and what if I’ve never ridden before?

The mule ride is easy and takes about 25 minutes to get you through the forest to the first zip line. You’ll receive full instructions at the beginning of the tour but experience is not required. The mules go at an easy pace and they make for an easy ride.

Can I bring my camera?

For safety reasons we don’t allow cameras on this tour. We want our guests to be focused on their guides and safety at all times. If you do bring your camera you can store it in one of the lockers at the base camp. Each tour will be accompanied by a professional photographer who is in charge of taking pictures as you fly across the zip lines and rappel down waterfalls in Puerto Vallarta. These pictures will be available for purchase after the tour!

For safety reasons pregnant women and people with a history of seizures vertigo back knee or neck injuries or heart problems are not allowed to participate on this tour. Remember that this is a highly physical tour.
